Glossy selective UV coating is a popular postpress finish to printings and packagings to make the selective image or text stand out and attract consumers’ attention quickly.

Generally a screen printer might be chosed to do selective UV coating in the past; now people and government pay attention to the environment and green ways of production are highly encouraged. Screen printers need to make screen for selective coating but the way of making screen is pollutive and the UV varnish for screen will also bring out VOCs under ultra-violet light. China governments have shut down several big factories’ screen printing department due to the pollution caused by screen printing process.

Our Inkjet Spot UV Coater can do selective UV coating through inkjet heads digitally and we use LED light, the clean way to cure the varnish without producing any VOCs. This innovative coating solution is a perfect option for the printing plants who need a green selective coating solution.

This is modular machine which can work inline with corona treatment, cold foil unit, powder removing system, lamination etc. It is capable of printings from offset press, Indigo press and toner printer etc without extra treatment.
