At that time, the market for digital embellishment press can’t accept expensive model and it takes time for the market to accept the raised 3D UV and raised 3D foil finish. Speed is not the important consideration, cost matters.

Both B2-D and B2-S are multi-pass model, slow speed, affordable machine. Some customers requires 5 Konica 1024i inkjet heads for A3+ printing and others requires 8 Konica 1024i inkjet heads for B2 printing.

B2-S is kind of a successful machine for the Chinese printing and packaging market.

From time to time, customers have higher requirement on the digital embellishment press, higher speed, more precise registration, more substrates, more stable performance etc.

Our team start considering integrated first generation and second generation of JetTouch digital embellishment press into a complete new one: multi-pass printing mode and single-pass printing mode in the same machine.
